Brand That Name now have monthly Meetups

A year ago we setup our own Meetup page to start doing events in Leeds . For people who are not familiar with Meetup, it is a website where people can join groups in their local area. These groups can be for anyone interested in Bitcoin, Entrepreneur Networking, gaming or even sports. Just sign up on their website for free and you can find hundreds of groups to join.

These groups organise regular event for people in the local area to meet up and socialise with others who have similar interests. Meet ups are attended by a variety of people and are a good place to network.

Over the next year we will be holding SEO related meetings in Leeds City Centre venue’s and inviting local business owners to join us. We will be giving out free internet marketing information, like how to rank a website on Google or rank a video on Youtube.

Last year we had only one meeting which was poorly attended, despite quite a few of our Meetup members saying that they were going attend. This made us realise, to get the most out of our Meetups we need to substantially grow our group membership. We have decided that one way to do this would be to start an online marketing campaign to bring awareness to our group. We decided that we needed to be paying for Facebook adverts and other online advertising, so we approached some of  our clients who run local businesses and asked them if they would be interested in sponsoring our events.

Contrary to popular belief, a company offering affordable rates can be detrimental to one’s overall operation. This article will provide information on the different reasons why you should avoid affordable SEO services like the plague.

Cost is a sensitive topic and all people are searching for cost-effective services, but there are some areas in life where you will need to pay for a quality service and SEO is one of these areas. It is important to note that cost for SEO is not an immediate situation and there are different aspects involved in the price tag.

Firstly, affordable services will often result in a penalty; therefore, low-quality tactics may work in the short-term but the site can be penalized in the long-term. This means you will need to hire another agency to have the penalty removed and increase the expense. This is only the visible cost. It is important to consider the loss of time and opportunity that accompanies penalized sites – and all business people understand the value of time and money in the industry.

While the costly SEO agencies are not cheap, they employ legitimate specialists in SEO and will be able to provide high quality work approaches. The cheap labor offered by affordable services is typically inexperienced and is not the best for larger SEO projects.
